Richard Wiebe has focused much of his career on appellate litigation in federal and state courts. His specialized expertise and strategic approach have made him a trusted advisor for complex legal matters.

Early in his career, Rick spent a total of nine years as a judicial staff attorney at the federal United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and at the California Supreme Court. During that time, he worked on hundreds of appeals addressing a wide variety of issues.

Rick's experience working with judges of the appellate courts shaped his understanding of what arguments persuade appellate judges. His appellate work is also informed by his extensive experience litigating in trial courts.

Rick has represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to Silicon Valley start-ups, individuals, nonprofits, and government agencies across numerous practice areas.
